Help-Desk Technician
Cogent IT is a NW regional IT provider for small and medium sized businesses. We are seeking a full time help-desk technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide remote and onsite technical support to customers and execute various client and internal projects. Candidates will have a bachelor degree in a technical discipline or 2 to 5 years of experience with direct customer technical support.
As a help-desk technician you will join our team providing excellent customer support to our customers. Our team actively manages our customers IT solutions. The successful candidate will engage in all help-desk activities which range from basic Windows workstation support to server and network outages.
Successful candidates will have experience installing, configuring, and supporting the following solutions:
Personal characteristics required to be successful in this position are: ability to multi-task multiple support requests and projects, strong personal organization, strong written and oral communication skills, commitment to customer satisfaction, and a desire to work in a team environment.
The candidate must have a valid driver's license and be able to deliver products in and around the Portland Metro area. We also perform background checks.
